On November 5 I will fly to Germany for a 2 week visit. This will be the Blog of my visit.
I will fly into Frankfurt on November 6 and travel to the Mosel, to Treis-Karden, for three days. While on the Mosel, I plan to visit some of the well known wine towns - Bernkastel-Kues, Zell, Cochem, and Beilstein - and take a winery tour or two.
On the 10th I will travel by train via Köln to Braunlage, in the Harz, for 4 days. While in the Harz, I hope to visit Goslar and Wernigerode, see the castle in Wernigerode, and visit some of the smaller towns on the edge of the park.
Then, on the 15th, I will go by train to Bad Herrenalb, in the Black Forest. Hopefully I can get over to Calw (home of Herman Hesse).
I will spend the last night (18th) in Mainz before flying home on the 19th.

I saw your "latest trip" page on your website. Are all the pictures on there ones you have taken on this trip? (Obviously the picture of your lunch is, but I was wondering about the scenery.)
